Unfortunately I was too distracted by meeting so many great people that I forgot to take photos! But I do have this one, with the lovely Elizabeth Gilbert, who had just finished reading my novel and told me she loved it, then gave The Anchoress a plug on Facebook and Twitter. Gotta love such generosity.

The Anchoress is the ‘Women’s Weekly Good Read’ for March. Apparently the magazine comes out two weeks before the month on its cover … so that might mean it will be out in a few days!

I was delighted to discover that my debut novel, The Anchoress, which will launch in February 2015, has been featured in a number of ‘What to Watch’ articles in major newspapers over the summer break.
Jane Sullivan mentions The Anchoress in her ‘Books of 2015: A Preview of the Highlights’ at the Sydney Morning Herald (December 27, 2014), and the novel is also featured in Susan Wyndham’s contribution to ‘Australian faces to watch in 2015: Television, movies, music, movies’ (we can only assume they meant books too!) at The Age (January 10, 2015).
